| OUR STORY | Louis and Edna Els are the father and mother of Victory Christian Church. They along with their four (4) children (Mikailè, Louis, Jana and Neil) have seen God birth and grow a family church that is respected and known for its Apostolic and prophetic thrust.
In 1991 the Lord spoke (1 Samuel 22:21) to Louis and Edna regarding the Couga area. To see a church built for all nations, where people are taught how to have a personal and intimate relationship with God, with a strong emphasis on love, acceptance & forgiveness in relationships.
Over the past few years, the church moved as a small body through 14 different venues in seven (7) years, through glorious heights and deep valleys, through success and failure, and has learnt the ways of God. Those were the times when core values were developed and proved by as God established them within the Family that He was building to Advance His Kingdom.
From the first corporate meeting in a furniture shop in Humansdorp, through many miracles & great testimonies to the place where we now have wonderful facilities (since 1998), where as a growing family and the church we celebrate what God is doing, empowering God's people to reach their purpose and destiny as He leads us on, to His Glory and fame. |
