LOVE GOD
We love God because He first loved us. The highest call on our lives is to love God. Christianity is based on a personal relationship with God. As people we cannot respond in love until we have received His love. God is love and His love is unconditional!
1 John 4:18-19 “There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love.”
LOVE HIS PEOPLE
When we allow the love of God to touch our lives and heal our hearts, it moves us from self centeredness to God centeredness and then, to other centeredness. We know the love of God is real to us when our response is to love others the way Christ loved us.
1 John 3:16 “By this we know love, because He laid down His life for us. And we also ought to lay down our lives for the brethren”
LIVE LIFE
God wants us to live everyday to the full - spirit, soul and body, enjoying life and one another as we live in the ways of God! Man can turn to many other sources of life but ultimately Jesus and knowing Him is the only source of life.
John 17: 3 “Now this is eternal life: that they know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom You have sent.”.ADVANCE HIS KINGDOM
God’s purpose is to advance His Kingdom on earth. He does this through men and women who are yielded to the Lordship of Jesus Christ – people who love God, love His people and live life.
Matthew 24:14 “And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.”
